Appreciate the Little Things: 2013

12th Month

May 20th to June 20th:
We haven't been up to much! My communication class started on May 20th and my chemistry class started on June 10th. You go to daycare while I am at class or work! Maria came up and stayed the last week of May. Veronica came up and spent a night as well! It was nice to have them over and I think you really enjoyed having someone new to hang out with! They were also really helpful with you. On June 2nd we went to Mckaila Brown's baby shower and if there is any place to get attention..you got it at the baby shower haha You were a little cranky though and weren't as friendly as you normally are. But that is ok, to quote Hannah Montana " everybody has those days." You have been eating a lot more "real" food. You have those pureed containers, little sliced up veggies/fruits, and little bits of what I am eating!

Eleventh Month

April 20th to May 20th
WOOO! School is out!!!!! I got done on May 30th..it was spectacular. Starting on May 29th, you have liked to do this thing where you make a bridge with your body. I don't really know how to explain it! It is kinda like a headstand but your feet touch the ground? We catsat? catsitted? for two weeks for your Great Uncle Ken and Great Aunt Noreen and you really liked Jasmine (the cat) but were more interested in knocking over potted plants -_-
On May 10th we had another appointment with Dr. West and your height was 29 and 3/4 inches (75%), weight: 20 pounds and 6 ounces (50%) and your large head was 18 and 3/4 inches (90%). On May 13th you stood all by yourself and the next day you took a step without holding onto anything! My friend Sierra Weber watched you on that Wednesday while I had an appointment, she loves babies so you were in for a treat! You played (slobbered on) with all of their dishes ("drumming")..lucky them! That weekend was a weekend you spent with your daddy but when I got you back on Sunday you went with me to Zach Decker (many dom fans there!) and Isaiah Friesen's (Great Grandpa Ken and Great Grandma Ardie, as well as a bunch of my friends were there!) graduation parties.

The Tenth Month

March 20th to April 20th:
This is still during Spring Break so we saw quite a few of my friends during this time! We went and visited Megan Decker and of course her mom and brother held you too :) You have started to mimic what you hear and it is really cute! It isn't super clear but I have caught you saying "Good Job!" "Don't Touch" and "No No No No" haha Every Thursday this semester is Downton Night which you for the most part are already asleep for but everyone likes to see you if you wake up or if they get there early. Emily Pinkerton, Hillary Fischer, Caitlin Eis, Jaimee Prochnow, and Brittany Lenners are the frequent Downtonners. We watch Downton Abbey and eat haha You just love having more people oogling over you! You (Grandma and Grandpa) gave me a card and spray cheese for my birthday..thank you very much Dom..it was great! On the 12th we went over to Callie and Jim's and played Cranium and Catchphrase. You did a great job of being really easy to take care of. The next night your Grandpa Bill and Grandma Greta were up in Lincoln so we went to mass with them. I had to let the Nebraska Track & Field job go because they kept wanting me to travel. So you and I did some job hunting and found a different job, I am now working at the UNL Plant Pathology lab! I will miss all the free stuff but this will be way easier for us to work into our schedule. My friend Rachel Votta and her boyfriend Eric babysat you one evening when I had an exam!
