October 20th to November 20th: This month your dad and I decided to split up. We wanted things to work out so that your mom and dad would raise you together but we are just two different people. We thought it would be better for you to grow up in two happy homes rather than one fighting one. I think we will both be happier from it and I hope you will be too. For Halloween we went trick or treating with my friend Callie Busboom (soon to be Callie Higgins!) and her family. You were a pumpkin and we stopped by my parents house of course. We started going to a Mom's group at Milkworks and I think you were amazed by seeing other babies. I think you thought you were the only one haha It was nice to hear that other moms had had the same problems that I had gone through and it was crazy how some of them give up so many foods (baby has allergies) in order to nurse. My Dad came up and babysat you on November 16th, and then my cousin Kristin Tobias watched you the next day while I was working at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln Track and Field.
