This is from December 20th to January 20th! We had a good Christmas! On Christmas Eve we went over to your Great-Grandpa Ken and Great-Grandma Ardie Pinkerton's house. On Christmas morning we were at my parents house and then in the afternoon you went over to your dads. Over break we visted/were visited by lots of people that wanted to see you: Megan Decker, Melissa Decker, Brittany Lenners, Allie Hardman, Emily Pinkerton, Mason Carey and his family, Sam Weickert and her family, Ali Engler, Matt Dunker and Beth Dunker, Andy Crowder (even brought icecream!), Rachel Votta, Mitch Cassels, and probably other people..my memory is so shady.. Needless to say you are a pretty popular guy :) You crawled for the first time at my parents house trying to get Abner's frisbee! You went to daycare for the first time on January 7th. Your father and I's classes didn't work out for him to watch you while I was in class. It was so hard to drop you off, I wish I could just drop out and stay home with you. It is a really nice facility over in the Fallbrook area but I am just paranoid. I think that I could give you more attention and I don't like how other people parent you. I don't let you cry, I want you to be a securely attached baby. I respond quickly when you need something and I think they make you cry yourself to sleep. I don't think they play with you very much or talk to you very much. I am also worried about how often they sanitize their toys. I try to talk to them about things and they get pretty huffy with me. One time I came in and you had a bottle in bed with you when you were sleeping which I don't let you do (I nurse so I suppose that would be hard haha) I am worried you are going to get "bottle mouth" I talked to them about it and they said they wouldn't do it anymore but who knows what they do when I am not there. I scheduled my classes so that I am not gone for very long at one time. I go for about two hours and then come get you and bring you home for a while then take you back to daycare and then go to class and work. It is a lot of gas but it is worth it to get the time with you. They are also being weird about giving you solid food. I asked them to feed you one pack of a vegetable in the morning while you are there and sometimes they do it but a lot of the time they either give you rice cereal or bottles. Speaking of bottles I don't think they hold you while you are drinking them which makes me sad. So if you turn out emotionally challenged I am blaming them. I don't let you watch tv and don't plan on letting you watch very much of it even as you get older (I don't want you to be a zombie) and I see the older kids there watching movies pretty often. The first few days you were there you cried and then cried at home when I left the room. Your Godmother Emily watches you every Wednesday while I am in my evening class. I feel sooooo much better about this. You love her :) You get really excited when she comes over and reach for her, it is pretty cute. You really love to try and grab either her purse (which is Coach and not for babies) or her Iphone or her hair. On December 29th, you were coughing really bad and your Uncle Jace and I took you to the emergency room at around midnight..we were there until 6 in the morning. They did some breathing treatments and said that you had croup it was pretty scary. It was the first time you were really sick. They gave me a steroid to give you for a few days. On January 3rd we had our last doctor's appointment with Dr. Vander Pol because she was switching practices. Your head was in the 98%, height 97%, and weight 44%. Your cough had kinda died down but then it picked up again and sounded different so it was time to go to the doctor who was our new one Dr. Rida. She confirmed that you have RSV. You weighed 18.2 lbs.

So once again the pictures are before the text *facepalm*. This is from November 20th to December 20th 2012. On November 21st we had a checkup appointment with Dr. Vander Pol who is an amazing doctor. You weighed 16lbs and 3 oz. Your head circumference was 17.75 inches. Your height was 27 inches. You went to your first college final on December 10th, you were very well behaved :) On December 15th we celebrated Christmas with your Great Grandma Rosemary and Great Grandpa Triplett and then my parents and siblings. You started to "babble" a lot more this month! You blew your first raspberry on December 18th :) On December 13th you went to your first college party..ok it wasn't
quite like that haha My friend Sierra Weber invited us over for their
"Feliz Guad Squad Navidad." Emily, Taryn (I'm pretty sure the only
non-Catholic person present haha) you and I all went. You got to pin
Mary on the donkey and get loved on by everyone. You love it when your
aunts sing you "skinnimarinkidinkidink." A few songs that I sing to you before bed time or just throughout the day are: Baby Mine from Dumbo, Can't Stand It by NeverShoutNever (but slower and with no swear words haha), and All Through the Night--Christmas Song, and random other ones!
